Sub-Saharan Africa bears 70% of the global burden of maternal deaths. Facing this stark reality, the strengthening of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights outcomes must become a priority, demanding immediate and targeted intervention.

This Summary Landscape and Bottleneck Analysis Report, presents a study of the systems and processes governing lifesaving new and lesser-used Family Planning and Maternal Health commodities across the region. It emphasises actionable recommendations to improve policy, financing mechanisms, supply chains, and commodity utilisation, ultimately ensuring greater access to these essential lifesaving commodities across SSA.
